Sprout the Dog He's noble, proud, independent and loves to go for rides.  He does wheelies in the air when he thinks the car or truck is going out.  He climbs aboard the ATV for a rip down the road with Mom.  He's even tried to hop up on Stetson!  He's 9 years old, and his passion in life (besides travelling) is hamburgers at McDonalds.

PigPig Not just any-old-pig, this one!  You knew when you looked her in the eye that she understood everything.  Following people for walks, raiding the apple trees, coming when she was called and pretending to be a dog were all part of her daily life.  She is gone now, buried in the back pasture, but never, ever will be forgotten.  She lives forever in "The Naughty Seven".

Bandie This Springer Spaniel loves the entire world and would have been an awesome nurse if she'd been born a 'people'. Charmer, welcoming committee,  friend to every living thing, she is definitely not a burglar alarm!

Cows and calves and Wrangler the Bull .  That's Mighty Mite the cow away in the background.

Keeper and Jenny

They are black and white and cute all over! It's not that these sisters are shy or trying to hide.  It's just that they constantly have their noses into mischief!

When they get to tell their own story, it'll be called "Lost", and tells about a five day adventure they had one winter when they were just puppies.

"Cattle Drive!" is the story of how helpful horses can't be.

Stetson and Shiloh and Blaze

Big, black, gorgeous Stetson thinks he is in charge of the world. Well, isn't he? When there is work to be done, or lessons to do, Shiloh the pinto would rather be invisible! Wide-eyed Blaze knows that Arabians are scardy-cats, but he tries to be brave.

Jake

As a little furball puppy, he was forgiven for eating couches, chairs, hornet's nets, shoes and cars. As a teenager he was forgiven for throwing up every time he tried to ride in the car. Now he's an adult and there's nothing to forgive!  He's gorgeous, smart, willing and helpful. He's everything you want a dog to be.

He's Jake, our International Shepherd...half Australian and half German! Guess what he has for a snack in "Jake's Lunch".

And then there's Repo.......

...Springer Spaniel brother of Keeper and Jenny.  For a guy who thinks he's pretty macho, he sure needs a lot of hugs!

Find out how he came to be part of The Grovehill Gang in the next book in the series, "Repo's Story", coming soon.

...and of course there's Farmer Mom and Farmer Dad.
